Going to Chattacon (January 20-22, 2012 – Chattanooga ChooChoo, Chattanooga, TN.)? Look for Steampunk Chronicle to be heavily involved with programming and sponsorship in the Steampunk Track. Here’s the scoop on all the steam at Chattacon:
 · Rumor has it there will be a Steampunk Party Friday Night. Look for signs throughout the hotel for details.
· Saturday 1PM Town Hall Theater - Q&A with SpC - Join members of THE newspaper of the Steampunk world as The Steampunk Chronicle brings a panel of its writers and journalists together to discuss current events in Steam. Topics include what's new in fashion, film and television, comics, books and music. There will be giveaways, prizes and more.
· Saturday 2PM Town Hall Theater - Steampunk Makers - SHOW AND TELL - Makers bring their inventions to display and discuss. Your qestions welcome, your gizmo's welcome. Come
by to see, inspect and learn!
· Saturday 3PM Town Hall Theater - Modding OFF the Rack - Can't sew? Does starting a Steampunk project from scratch seem to slow? Learn some cool tips, tricks and shortcuts to turn some basic items into Steampunk splendor.
· Saturday 4PM Town Hall Theater - Steampunk Photo Shoot - Meet and greet your Steampunk friends at the Town Hall Theater for a group photo - bring your daytime Steampunk

· Saturday 7PM MAIN THEATER – The People's Steampunk Fashion Show - Got something new and Steam-tastic to wear. Join in on the event of the season. To participate, fill out a Steampunk Fashion Show form any time between 1 and 5PM at the Town Hall Theater at Steampunk Block, and show up in your Steampunk Best at 6:30PM AT THE MAIN THEATER.
Afterwards, we will congratulate ourselves on being spiff and mingle.

GOOD NEWS / BAD NEWS!
There will be NO masquerade at Chattacon this year (aww... ). So, the Steampunk Fashion show will be the big theater costume event of the night (yea!). There won't be cash prizes like in previous years (aww...) BUT there will be cash prizes for adults and kids in 4 categories of HALL COSTUME CONTEST (yea!). Steampunk is one of the categories (YEA!)!
