Cordelia Forward at Aethercon by Ann DugmoreThis Week's Fashionista is:

Cordelia Forward, Whangarei, New Zealand.

Cordelia is a member of Kraken’s Lair Steampunk Whangarei.

Describe your fashion:

The thought behind this outfit was ‘how would a Steampunk look after a particularly long session at the Absinthe Imbibers Club?’ As you can see I have succumbed to the effects of the wormwood and become rather Absinthe Minded. My bustle has slipped sideways (requiring me to add a second bustle on the other hip in order to maintain balance), and I have put my corset on over the top of my jacket, and I have slung my belt over my shoulder, while on my chatelaine I carry a bottle of absinthe. But, most embarrassingly (and therefore much to the amusement of my maid), I have forgotten to put on my underskirt.

Did you make, mod, buy your fashion:

I made all the garments except the corset, hat and boots.

The tutorial for the Paniers is from The Dreamstress.

The jacket is TV400 and the over skirt is an adapted TV208, both from from Truly Victorian.

The Corset is from Gallery Serpentine.

The bloomers and spats were my own pattern. The Top Hat is a silk antique.

What are your style influences:

I was inspired by this image (a sort of Baroque-Punk) from www.Viona-Art.com.
